About the Founder
Dr. Apurva Kulkarni, the visionary behind Linkin Moves, holds a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of South Wales, UK. Her journey in the world of sports and physiotherapy is deeply rooted in her experience as a former National Roller Hockey player, which gives her a firsthand understanding of the critical role physiotherapists play in an athlete’s recovery and performance.
Since 2016, Dr. Kulkarni has been dedicated to ensuring injury-free lives for athletes and individuals from all walks of life. She specializes in modern physiotherapy techniques, including Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, Rigid and Kinesio Taping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and Myofascial Release (MFR). Additionally, she holds an international certification in Chiropractic Manipulation from the UK.
Her expertise extends to working with elite national and international athletes across various sports, including cricket, badminton, tennis, shooting, swimming, and table tennis. She has served as the official physiotherapist for the Maharashtra Men and Women Tennis teams at the 36th National Games 2022 in Gujarat and has been part of the ITF 40K Women’s Tennis tournaments in 2023 and 2024. In 2023, she was the physiotherapist for the franchise Chennai Lions in the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) League.
Dr. Kulkarni has worked closely with renowned athletes such as Rutuja Bhosale and Arjun Kadhe (Tennis), Rahul Tripathi and Devika Vaidya (Cricket), Heena Sidhu (Shooting), Neha Pandit and Shruti Mundada (Badminton), and Manika Batra (Table Tennis), among others. She also extends her expertise to recreational athletes, marathon runners, and fitness enthusiasts, helping them overcome musculoskeletal issues.
Her experience goes beyond the sports arena, as she has also worked with prominent figures like actress 'Taapsee Pannu', serving as her physiotherapist for the film “Shabaash Mithu.”
